How do you play?
Unlike traditional auction sites, it's not the highest bid that wins; it's the most 'unique' bid that wins - a number that no other bidder has selected.
For example, the Xbox 360 retails for $399.99, UA will have a ceiling price for the console for as low as $4.34. Users can pick numbers from anywhere between 0.01 and $4.34, at a cost of $2.00 for regular members, and $1.00 for Platinum per selection or "bid."
Let's say three people bid $4.34, two people bid $4.33 and one person bids $4.32, then the "most unique bid" would be $4.32. This means the winner will only pay $4.32 for the sought after system.
Of course, there are thousands of scenarios that could take place. The auction could even be won for one cent…if every number from 0.02 to $4.34 was taken at least twice and one person selected one cent
What happens if every number is selected in an auction?
In the event that every number has been selected, the "most unique bid" would be the highest number with the least amount of bids that was selected first.
Why is there a bidding fee?
The bidding fee, $2.00 for regular members, $1.00 for platinum members, covers the cost of the items, allowing us to auction them off at such a low cost.
Is this a lottery or raffle site?
No. It's a game where winning depends on the user and their own strategy. Nothing is hidden from the user, all bids and the bid history can be seen, allowing them to cancel out others to enhance their winning strategy.
What can you get off Unique Auction?
Anything. Anytime a hot new item is released, you'll find it on UniqueAuction at a low cost. Auctions ranging from cars, vacations, video game systems, iPods, digital cameras, televisions, computers and much more ... all for a fraction of the price.

With eBay and many other 'highest bidder wins' auction sites on the internet, we wanted to distance ourselves from that group and be completely different, thus, the concept of Unique Auction was born.

How do you register?
Registration on Unique
Auction is FREE. In order to register for Unique
Auction, you must have a valid e-mail address and be at least 18 years old.
Once you have signed up, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to your inbox. At that time, you will need to agree to Unique
Auction's User Agreement and Privacy Policy. If you haven't received your confirmation e-mail, be sure to check your junk mail.
If you would like to upgrade your membership and receive all the benefits at UA, you can upgrade to the Platinum Membership.
PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP
What is a Platinum Membership?
Platinum memberships give UA members an advantage over regular members with many benefits that include:

- Free shipping up to $100.00.
- The use of the Mini Bot (see below).
- 80% cash out option (see below).
- Can create Challenge Auctions
Platinum memberships are $100.00 per year or $9.99 a month.
What does the Platinum Membership Mini-Bot do?
Mini bot's keeps track of the user's numbers plus everyone else's numbers in numerical order so they can play strategically to win more auctions. It also allows them to place multiple bids with a click of a button.
Can you make money playing Unique
Auction?
Yes. Platinum members have the opportunity to make money while playing at Unique
Auction. If a Platinum member wins an auction and does not want the product, they have the option of cashing out at 80 percent of the retail value.
DIFFERENT TYPES OF AUCTIONS
What is a reserve auction?
Reserved auctions come with a reserve price, which means the total number of bids must equal to the reserve price and cover the cost of the item before the winner is declared.
What happens if a product isn't sold?
If the reserve is not met and the product is not sold, all bids are refunded.
What is a non-reserve auction?
Non-reserve auctions come with no reserve price, meaning the product will be sold, even if the bids don't add up to the retail cost of the item.
Challenge Auctions
Challenge Auctions are created when a user invites competitors and sets up their own rules to compete for an item between the players.
There is no bidding fee when taking part in Challenge Auctions. Users will be charged according to the retail price of the product divided by the number of people taking part in the challenge.
Challenge Auction odds of winning are determined by the numbers of users competing in the challenge.
For example, if a Challenge Auction is for two people, then the chances of winning are 1 in 2 or 50%. If another Challenge Auction is created for 5 people, then the chances of winning are 1 in 5 or 20%.
